These Terms govern your access to and use of Podsterra services, including studio bookings, on-site conduct, payments, and cancellations. By booking or using the space, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptable Use

Rules that protect the studio, neighbors, and your session.

Lawful use

Studios must be used for lawful audio/video recording, rehearsals, or production activities. You agree not to use the premises for any illegal, harmful, or deceptive activity.

Respect for property & building rules

Do not damage equipment, acoustic panels, furniture, or shared building areas. Follow posted safety instructions, occupancy limits, and any engineer/host directions.

Noise & conduct

Keep hallways and common areas quiet. Do not disturb neighbors or other tenants. Aggressive, discriminatory, or harassing behavior is not permitted.

Prohibited items

No weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials. Smoking is not allowed unless explicitly designated by the facility.

Payments

How charges, deposits, and add-ons are handled.

Booking charges

Hourly rates are charged at booking unless otherwise stated. Session time includes setup and breakdown; arriving late does not extend your booking.

Add-ons & post-session billing

Additional services (engineer time, equipment add-ons, consumables) may be billed after the session if used. You authorize Podsterra to charge the payment method on file for verified add-on usage.

Taxes, fees & receipts

Prices may exclude applicable taxes/processing fees where required. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and will receive receipts at the email/phone you provide.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we may suspend your ability to book until the dispute is resolved. Legitimate disputes are handled promptly with supporting documentation.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Policy for changes, no-shows, and late adjustments.

Free reschedule window

One free reschedule is available when requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.

Late changes

Within 24 hours of the start time, a partial fee may apply to cover reserved capacity, staff coordination, and preparation costs. The fee amount depends on staffing and the time reserved.

No-shows & early end

No-shows are generally non-refundable. Ending a session early does not reduce the total charge because the time slot was held exclusively for you.

Force majeure

If access becomes impossible due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., building closure, utility outage, severe weather), we will work with you to reschedule; refunds may be issued at our discretion depending on circumstances.

Liability & Responsibility

Limits, responsibility for guests, and damage handling.

Assumption of risk

You assume responsibility for your conduct and the conduct of your guests. Use equipment safely and follow guidance when provided.

Damage & replacement

You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear caused by you or your guests. We may charge the payment method on file for repair or replacement costs supported by documentation.

Limitation of liability

Podsterra is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

Personal property

You are responsible for securing your personal property. Do not leave valuables unattended. Lost items are handled as found property when possible, but we cannot guarantee recovery.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
